New data on the smooth lumpsucker Aptocyclus ventricosus (Cyclopteridae) from the Aleutian basin of the Bering Sea

Based on the analysis of samples from the catches of the international trawl survey in the Bering Sea enclave, the biological features of the smooth lumpsucker Aptocyclus ventricosus (the second most abundant species in the ichthyocene of the Aleutian Basin in 1978-1983 and the dominant species in 2000-2007) are described.
