Navigation in document flows using reference bibliography

The current documentation flow of local studies is distinguished by the volume, variety of types and types of publications (books, periodicals, electronic resources, archival materials) and their dispersion among various funds. This creates objective difficulties for the targeted search and comprehensive satisfaction of information needs of users (local scholars, students, researchers, local residents). As a systemic navigational tool, the reference bibliography is offered, whose function is defined not only as an accounting and registration, but also as evaluation and selection and communication. It serves as a "guide" (guide) in the information array. The article discusses the problem of navigation in the extensive documentary flows of local knowledge. As a methodological solution, the use of reference bibliography tools is proposed. The presented study carried out on the basis of Yutazinsk CBS demonstrates that a recommendation bibliography is an effective technological solution for structuring and navigation in the local history document flow. It will transform a passive fund into an active information resource, providing targeted and quality access to knowledge about the region for various categories of consumers.
