Weeds are plants whose presence is undesirable because they have the potential to cause losses in the productivity of cultivated plants. Lack of knowledge about the type, composition, and dominance of weeds in a location often causes control methods such as weeding or spraying herbicides to be less targeted and inefficient. This study aims to analyze the structure of weed vegetation in lowland rice fields in Menanga Tengah Village. The method used is a descriptive and quantitative survey, sampling was carried out using a quadrat technique through systematic sampling based on rectangular plots, plots measuring 2 m x 2 m were placed systematically. The results of the study obtained 6 species from 3 families and 4 genera. The six species are Cyperus rotundus, Cyperus Esculentus, Cyperus iria, Fimbristylis litoralis, Ludwigia octovalvis and Oldenlandia corymbosa. The highest Important Value Index (INP) result is Fimbristylis littoralis with a value of 53.68%, while the lowest important value index is Ludwigia octovalvis with a value of 21.00%. The results of the Diversity Index are H'=1.63 which is included in the moderate category.
