Purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the role of the integrative approach in the formation of professional competencies of future bachelors in physical culture and sports and to determine its health-preserving potential in the educational process. Methods. The research is based on analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, comparative analysis of national and international educational models, systematization of theoretical provisions, and structural-logical modeling of integrative professional training. Results. The study demonstrates that the integration of medical-biological, psychological-pedagogical, and professionally oriented disciplines contributes to the formation of holistic professional competence, systemic thinking, and professional autonomy of future specialists. The integrative approach ensures interdisciplinary coordination of educational content, reduces fragmentation of knowledge, and increases students’ motivation through the practical orientation of learning. It has been substantiated that the integrative model optimizes academic workload, prevents informational overload, and supports students’ psychological well-being. The health-preserving potential of the integrative approach lies in creating a logically structured educational environment that promotes the formation of health culture and responsible professional behavior. The analysis of international experience confirms that integration combined with digital educational technologies enhances adaptability and competitiveness of graduates in the modern labor market. Conclusions. The integrative approach acts as an effective pedagogical strategy for modernizing professional training in higher education institutions. Its implementation strengthens the health-preserving orientation of the educational process, ensures comprehensive professional development, and corresponds to contemporary international educational trends.
