PROVİDİNG EFFECTIVE FEEDBACK IN EVALUATING STUDENTS' ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

The research paper is focused on examining the nature of assessment and feedback of English language teaching mainly implemented in pedagogical universities.The article's goal is to provide a general explanation of the significance of feedback in English language assessments.The paper looks at several examples from the literature, analyzes the most recent systematic guidelines, and provides feedback on how to help students' language proficiency in English language classes.The analysis of various approaches to correcting students' errors in writing and oral speech is carried out.Special attention is paid to the conditions for effective feedback.Feedback is implemented in full-time and distance learning.
