SEMANTICS OF NEGATION IN COMMUNICATIVE SITUATION

The article deals with the implementation of the semantics of affirmation and negation based on linguistic facts.Explanation of the negation category of the verb both in terms of content and grammar, examination of its functional meaning shades, its metaphoricization in a certain functional semantic field, the potential of being able to express a certain meaning in the manner of expressing an idea, etc. such qualities have been investigated from the aspect of functional grammar.At the same time, the article also touches upon the issue of using language units that reflect the lexical, grammatical and syntactic levels to express the concept of negation in the language.It turns out that negation is a subjective-objective modal category.Objectivity is manifested in the correspondence of denial to the interpersonal norm and is reflected in the deontic, epistemic and axiological components of meaning.The subjective nature of the modality of denial lies in the subject's awareness of his personal meanings and experiences and is clearly reflected in emotional and evaluative negative statements, manifested in implicit and intensified denial.
