This study aims to identify and examine the following elements: how work environment affects employee performance; how professional transfer mutation affects employee performance; how work environment affects organizational commitment; how professional transfer mutation affects organizational commitment; how organizational commitment affects employee performance; and how professional transfer mutation affects organisational commitment and employee performance. In this quantitative investigation, a sample of 63 PLN UP3 Lubuk Pakam employees was taken. Data for this study was gathered via questionnaires. The Structural Equation Model was statistically analyzed using the SmartPLS 3.0 tool in order to test the study hypothesis. The findings indicate that professional transfers mutation have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, the work environment has a positive but not significant impact on organizational commitment, and professional transfers mutation have a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. The work environment has a positive but negligible effect on employee performance through organizational commitment, professional transfer mutation has a positive and significant impact on employee performance through organizational commitment, and organizational commitment has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.
