ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY DURING OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY

The paper examines the issues and problems of environmental safety during the operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery, identifies the main criteria that determine the control of the environmental situation in the area of operation and machinery technical service. (Research purpose) The research purpose is determining the state of environmental safety during the operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery and considering measures to optimize environmental control issues. (Materials and methods) It was noted that the main methods determining the criteria of environmental safety during operation and maintenance include the development and implementation of control and measuring tools and methods that provide control over the flow of toxic (harmful) substances generated during operation and maintenance of equipment. The main tasks facing the agro-industrial complex include controlling the toxicity of engine exhaust gases, smokiness, oil and fuel quality, air parameters, radiation levels, and soil contamination. (Results and discussion) It was established that as a result of many years of scientific and practical research conducted by FNAC VIM, a number of devices and equipment of ecological direction were created and put into operation, including those related to computerization of environmental safety assessment processes during operation and technical support of agricultural machinery. (Conclusions) Scientific and practical research on the solution of the main problems related to the optimization of environmental safety during the operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery is relevant. The development of modern technical and technological equipment using digital technologies and automation of environmental safety assessment processes will contribute to an increase in the level of basic parameters reflecting environmental safety by 45-50 percent.
