Background: Ovarian cystectomy is standard treatment for endometrioma but is associated with decreased ovarian reserve. Catheter-directed sclerotherapy (CDS) is an ovary-sparing image-guided alternative; however, supporting evidence comprises retrospective comparative and prospective single-arm studies.
