Follicular Lymphoma Involving the Supraglottic Larynx in a Patient with Recurrent Cutaneous B-cell Lymphoproliferative Lesions: A Case Report.

We report a rare case of follicular lymphoma involving the supraglottic larynx in an elderly woman with progressive hoarseness and potential airway compromise. Microlaryngoscopic resection was performed before systemic staging. Histopathology showed grade 1-2 follicular lymphoma. Postoperative FDG PET/CT and a bone marrow biopsy revealed no nodal, visceral, or bone marrow involvement at diagnosis. Because the clonal relationship with previous cutaneous B-cell lymphoproliferative lesions could not be assessed, a primary laryngeal origin could not be established. Involved-site radiotherapy was proposed, but declined by the patient. The patient remained free of local recurrence 6 months after surgery.
