Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disorder that can affect multiple organ systems, including the central nervous system, kidneys, and lungs. Pulmonary hemorrhage in SLE is a rare but serious complication that can lead to significant morbidity and mortality rates. We herein report a case of disseminated strongyloidiasis complicated by pulmonary hemorrhage in a patient with SLE. The interplay between immune system dysfunction in SLE and a parasitic infection with Strongyloides stercoralis may contribute to this unusual clinical presentation. Early recognition and management are critical for improving the patient outcomes.
