Main physicochemical properties and heavy metal concentrations in soils from the Industrial Area of Thessaloniki, Sindos - Greece

The data include measurements of basic soil physicochemical properties (soil texture, pH, organic matter, calcium carbonate, electrical conductivity, cation exchange capacity), as well as measurements of total and bioavailable concentrations of heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pd and Zn) in 50 surface (0-30 cm) and their corresponding subsurface (30-60 cm) soil samples in the Industrial Area of Thessaloniki city, Sindos, Greece.
