Augmentative and Alternative Communication Assessment Practices for Individuals with Physical Disabilities: A Systematic Review

This repository contains the formal, frozen registration of the supporting materials including the protocol, search strategies, and documentation for a completed systematic review synthesizing evidence on (a) the critical components of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) assessment for individuals with physical disabilities and (b) the roles of team members involved in the assessment process. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this review synthesized findings from 21 peer-reviewed studies to map out the multidimensional nature of AAC assessments and interdisciplinary team dynamics. This post-analysis registration serves as a transparent supplement to the final manuscript prior to journal submission, ensuring the integrity and reproducibility of our review process.
