Superseding, retrospective registration of the protocol, verbatim search queries, record-level screening log, per-record full-text audit and completed PRISMA-ScR checklist for a scoping review of the retrievable preclinical evidence on Hellenia speciosa (Costus speciosus). It supersedes the registration of 27 July 2026 (10.17605/OSF.IO/GCSBA), which described a different search executed on 30 April 2026 across four databases and should not be cited as the protocol for the manuscript these materials support; that registration was withdrawn by the authors on 2 August 2026. Search executed 1 August 2026 against PubMed, PubMed Central and Europe PMC only, all openly accessible; 1,129 records retrieved, 834 unique records screened, 42 assessed at full text in duplicate (Cohen's kappa = 0.78), 14 records in the appraised corpus. Evidence was graded against the best-practice framework of Heinrich et al. (J Ethnopharmacol 2020;246:112230) and the ConPhyMP guidelines. The deposited files permit any reader to recompute every count reported in the manuscript without contacting the authors.
