This project is a tree-project about learning, research, and synthesis on our knowledge of the phenotypic variation of wildlife in the domestic environment, our human-nature relationships, and the construction of their open digital infrastructure. The general goals of this major project are 1) to generate a multidisciplinary research ecosystem, to facilitate the processes for building of open knowledge bases (FAIR/CARE principles, repeatable, reproducible, and verifiable research), 2) to articulate with human-computer interaction and citizen participation systems, and 3) to develop an active interactive device ("interdomestic"), focused on the facets and pathways of the phenotypic variation in the domestic environment, and our human-nature relationships. To do this we developed specific project components: 1) a scoping review about concepts and jargon about human-nature relationships and the phenotypic variation in the domestic environment (systematic review registration) 2) a systematic review on phenotypic variation of wildlife in the domestic environment (systematic review registration) 3) a project for the interactive device ("interdomestic"), functioning as our interactive multi-purpose web for learning, research and synthesis, based on FAIR/CARE principles, https://osf.io/43nru/overview (open-ended registration) 4) other specific project components to improve reaching the general goals. Together with human-used devices, the ecosystem for developing this project is constituted mainly by STAPLE (should follow the umbrella project structure), OSF, RStudio, Quarto, Github, and Zenodo. The ending is proposed to November 2029.
