This project contains reconnaissance data collected from the 2026 Yumare, Venezuela earthquake doublet as part of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute's Learning from Earthquakes program (EERI LFE). Data in this repository span multiple disciplines including engineering and the social sciences. As part of the initial earthquake response, EERI's Learning from Earthquakes Virtual Earthquake Reconnaissance Team (VERT) activated after the earthquake. VERT conducted a virtual earthquake reconnaissance mission immediately following the earthquake to rapidly gather information about the earthquakes and their impacts. This report contains details on earthquake impacts to buildings, healthcare, schools, transportation, and utilities, as well as geotechnical impacts from liquefaction. Data in this project is intended to increase understanding of earthquake impacts and to provide the earthquake engineering community with a snapshot of immediate effects of the Venezuelan earthquakes.
