The Impact of Integrating Digital Literature Based on Local Wisdom and the "One Value, One Literary Work" Technique on the Creativity in Writing Short Stories

The majority of students still have difficulty writing creative short stories. Their weakness lies in the quality and creativity of the short stories. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of integrating digital literature and the "one value, one literary work" technique in literature learning on creative short story writing skills. A quasi-experimental method was used in this study involving 250 students. Participants were divided into two groups: the experimental group received digital literature intervention and the "one value, one literary work" technique, while the control group received manual text literary media intervention with conventional instructions. Data collection used several instruments, namely the Short Story Quality Assessment, the Torrance Creative Thinking Test (TTCT), and interviews. The data analysis used was the t-test and descriptive analysis. Research findings indicate that the integration of a digital literary platform based on local wisdom and the "one value, one literary work" technique can improve the quality of short story writing and creativity. Improved short story quality is evident in the appropriateness of theme to content, the completeness of intrinsic elements, the cohesion of intrinsic elements, the complexity of the story, and the flexibility of language. Improved creativity is evident in the dimensions of fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, and sensitivity. This research implies that the use of digital literature media and the "one value, one literary work" technique is more optimal in improving the quality of short story writing and short story creativity.
