Post-fit distributions of the $\Delta\Phi_{jj}$ observable for events in the tight 'T' analysis region within the invariant diphoton mass window $m_{\gamma\gamma}$ in [120,130] $\mathrm{GeV}$. The lower panels show the background-subtracted data compared with the best-fit VBF signal hypothesis and two other BSM scenarios corresponding to the two $a_T$ values excluded at exactly 95% CL by shape-only fits.
