Case Report of Unilateral Short-Root Abnormality Disease of Multiple Roots.

Short root anomaly (SRA) is a rare developmental disturbance characterized by markedly shortened and blunted roots with a root-to-crown ratio below 1, while the crown morphology and periodontal structures remain unaffected. Most reported cases show bilateral symmetric involvement of maxillary anterior teeth. This paper presents a unique case of unilateral multiple SRA affecting mandibular canine, premolars, and molars combined with facial asymmetry in a 22-year-old male patient. No active treatment was performed except standardized oral hygiene instructions and regular follow-up. This case expands the phenotypic spectrum of SRA and highlights the importance of comprehensive differential diagnosis.
