OBJECTIVES: to develop a creative educational technology in the form of an educational comic book on Hansen's disease for primary health care professionals.
METHODS: an applied qualitative study focused on the development of an educational technology, using a multiprofessional approach.

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: the educational comic book underscores the need for an integrated approach to Hansen's disease management, promoting empathy, understanding, and ongoing efforts to combat stigma and improve the quality of life of people affected by the disease.
