The objective of this study was to determine the effect of flour debris on three formulations of crack-and-crevice treatments on adult red flour beetles, Tribolium castaneum, and resulting progeny. Artificial concrete crack-and-crevice bioassay were created on the bottom of a Petri dish and treated with a dry combo (deltamethrin + methoprene), liquid combo (deltamethrin+ methoprene + PBO), or β-cyfluthrin insecticide treatment. The bioassays were held for 12 with or with out four in the crack in a steel shed in Kansas. Every 4 weeks, adult red flour beetles were added to the bioassay arenas and monitored for alive, affected, or dead individuals for 7 days. After 7 days, the contents were placed in a vial and monitored for adult progeny.
