Pathway to Independence - an interview with Margherita Zamboni.

Margherita Zamboni is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Enric Llorens's lab at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, where she studies gene regulation in the central nervous system (CNS) in injury and regeneration. A unifying theme across her doctoral and postdoctoral work has been deciphering the molecular mechanisms that govern injury response and repair mechanisms in the mammalian CNS. She is now one of Development's Pathway to Independence programme fellows. We caught up with her to learn about her journey into science and her career path, what she hopes to get out of the programme and the questions she wants to ask in her own group.
