Surgical Treatment for Hemorrhagic Infarction of Small Intestine Caused by Organophosphate Poisoning.

Acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning (AOPP) may cause intestinal infarction via intra-abdominal hypertension (IAH) and non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia (NOMI). Although this complication carries high mortality, early laparotomy, resection of necrotic bowel, and comprehensive therapy can improve survival, as supported by our successfully treated case.
