Acalabrutinib Added To Rituximab, Bendamustine (ABR) in Newly Diagnosed High Risk Mantle Cell Lymphoma: an Early Indian Experience.

UNLABELLED: Conventionally chemoimmunotherapy followed by autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) is the standard of care for newly diagnosed mantle cell lymphoma. The role of BTKi is emerging in upfront management of mantle cell lymphoma. It has redefined the role of upfront stem cell transplantation especially with achievement of deep sustained MRD negativity. Elderly population are not eligible for intensive chemotherapy for many reasons especially frailty, poor performance score and associated comorbidities. The use of upfront Ibrutinib and acalabrutinib with Rituximab, Bendamustine (BR) backbone has been studied in these transplant ineligible cohorts in Phase 3 SHINE and ECHO trial respectively. We reported the early outcome, efficacy of second generation BTKi (acalabrutinib) with BR from an Indian perspective.
