Cloning of Antibodies from Patients with Heparin-Induced Thrombocytopenia.

We discuss two antibody cloning protocols-single B-cell culture (Nojima culture) and single B-cell expression cloning-to isolate antibodies associated with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) from patients displaying clinical manifestations of the condition. The objective of the antibody cloning study is to provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying the B-cell response and antibody-mediated pathogenesis in HIT, aiming to improve the diagnosis and management of this condition.
