AI Model Predicts Cancer Development, Diagnoses Tumors.

The new AI model Oncoformer can predict whether patients are likely to develop cancer within the next year, diagnose existing tumors, forecast responses to treatments, and stage tumors. The model makes conclusions and predictions from electronic health records and chest X-rays. Trained and tested with information from Chinese patients, the model also delivered accurate results for a cohort of patients in the UK.
