Obtaining arterial access is one of the most technically challenging aspects of pediatric angiography and endovascular interventions and requires detailed preprocedural planning, selection of an appropriate arterial access site, periprocedural optimization, use of US guidance for arterial puncture, and meticulous postaccess care.
