Bacillus toyonensis WHQ17, isolated from Xiangshan Mountain soil, produces a bacteriocin with specific anti-Bacillus cereus activity. Here, we present its complete genome, which comprises one chromosome and five plasmids, and identify three putative bacteriocin biosynthetic gene clusters for future characterization.
