From Seeing to Understanding: The Visibility Paradox in Dermatology.

Visible skin disease can generate premature confidence that diagnosis, patient burden, and management are already understood. We propose the visibility paradox as a testable framework linking diagnostic, burden, and management compression to failures to progress from seeing, through listening, to understanding.
