How to Do an Arthrogram Following Open Arthrotomy of the Paediatric Elbow-Indications and Technique.

Arthrography is a vital tool in paediatric elbow surgery to accurately visualise the articular surface and assess joint stability. This is particularly relevant following open arthrotomies for procedures correcting joint alignment. We describe a reproducible, simple technique for performing elbow arthrography after open arthrotomy of the paediatric elbow, accompanied by illustrative images and a video demonstration.
