This article investigates the fixed-time secondary control problem for alternating current (AC) microgrids subjected to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. Firstly, an acknowledgment character (ACK) detection mechanism is provided to identify the onset and cessation of intermittent DoS attack intervals. Then, a distributed fixed-time resilient protocol is proposed to rapidly achieve secondary control objectives via a novel lemma under the aperiodically intermittent control. Moreover, a dynamically event-based strategy is introduced into the design of controller to reduce command updates. Finally, real-time simulations on an OPAL-RT platform are performed to demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the presented method against DoS attacks.
