Chlamydia and gonorrhea prevalence was higher among women entering North Carolina prisons in 2019 compared to 2013, reflecting broader statewide trends. Annual screening rates varied between 41%-73%, suggesting missed opportunities. Standardized screening protocols are needed to improve carceral health data to inform statewide sexually transmitted infection surveillance efforts.
