Transmission and Prevention of Uterine Dysfunction in Daughters of Dioxin Exposed Male Mice.

Daughters of women with endometriosis are known to be at increased risk of developing this disease. Using a mouse model, we demonstrate uterine dysfunction reminiscent of endometriosis patients can also be passed from the father to the daughter, potentially via an epigenetic pathway amenable to therapeutic intervention.
