Ritlecitinib for the treatment of severe alopecia areata: real-world experience from a UK tertiary centre

This retrospective study presents 139 consecutive patients who received ritlecitinib 50 mg daily in 1 UK tertiary centre. Our real-world data demonstrate that ritlecitinib is effective and well tolerated in a large UK tertiary alopecia areata cohort. The data support the observation that a shorter disease episode duration was a significant predictor of Janus kinase inhibitor treatment response.
