Bronchiectasis now has an expanding landscape with a research growth rate exceeding that of asthma and COPD (9). We have summarized the top ten major shifts in domains of this landscape. In addition to the gaps mentioned above, further growth also needs to focus on prevention and ensure that consumers and underserved populations are included to strengthen equity (including in medication and RCT access), enhance relevance, and translate advances into meaningful improvements in care and outcomes for both children and adults with bronchiectasis.
