This study compares how composites perform in terms of free vibrational analysis when made from ramie fiber and jute fiber epoxy composites, both reinforced with nano-diamond. Ramie and jute fibers have similar densities, making them suitable for a side-by-side analysis. The fiber composites were fabricated using the vacuum-aided resin infusion technique molding (VARIM) technique. Nano-diamonds were added in step-by-step weight percentages of 0.1%, 0.3%, and 0.5%. Nano-fillers are known to improve the properties of natural fiber-reinforced composites. SEM and XRD analysis were done for sample characterization. Free vibrational analysis in the fixed-free condition was carried out, and the modal results were analyzed using Dewesoft software. The findings show that there is an increase in natural frequency and damping value due to the addition of nanodiamond. The maximum frequency increase observed for jute fiber-reinforced composites was 32.4, 221.9, and 1337.5 Hz with damping factors of 0.06, 0.048, and 0.012 for mode-1, mode-2, and mode-3, respectively, at 0.3% nanoparticle dispersion (ND). Similarly, the maximum frequency observed for ramie fiber-reinforced composites is 33.6, 229.7, and 1428.1 Hz with damping factors of 0.04, 0.025, and 0.008 for mode-1, mode-2, and mode-3, respectively, at 0.3% nanodiamond dispersion.
