To discover bioactive metabolites from medicinal plants, the ethyl acetate extract from Glycosmis parviflora leaves was subjected to phytochemical analysis. A total of seven compounds were purified and structurally characterised, including one previously undescribed lignan amide, parvamide A, alongside six known sulphonyl amides (2-7). The structure of compound (1) was determined by extensive spectroscopy methods, including 1D and 2D-NMR, HRESIMS, IR, UV, DP4+ probability analysis and calculated ECD. Furthermore, all compounds (1-7) were evaluated for antibacterial activities in vitro.
