Unveiling tullasnellachromone: a novel anti-bacterial and anti-tumor chromone of endophytic fungus <i>Tullasnella sp.</i> from <i>Dendrobium wangliangii</i>

This research isolated and identified tullasnellachromone (1), one novel chromone derivative, together with eleven known compounds (2–12) were isolated from the endophytic fungus Tullasnella sp. of Dendrobium wangliangii. These isolates were established primarily through NMR data analysis. Further more, in vitro assays revealed that compound 1 possesses strong antibacterial activity against both E. coli and C. albicans at 16 ug/ml, and weak anti-tumor activity against HCT116 cells with IC50 value is 36.84 μM.
