MAD statementThis leading article aims to Make a Difference (MAD) by reflecting on the contribution that literature reviews may offer to change management research. Organizational change is an unavoidable part of organizational life within and across boundaries. Today, we need novel ways to rethink and theorize change processes, preferably ways that combine insights from multiple research streams to capture the speed, the complexity and the interconnected of organizational change. By building upon the past, and moving existing research forward, literature reviews can be very useful to rethink organizational change. This leading article calls for more literature reviews that critically engage with existing research that can help scholars further the field of change research and suggest ways forward.
