This study examines the awareness, usage, and satisfaction levels of academic users with the digital resources, research tools, and educational support services offered by Maulana Azad Library, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India. Employing a descriptive, quantitative, survey-based design, data were collected from 234 respondents representing faculty, research scholars, postgraduates, undergraduates, and administrative staff. A structured questionnaire comprised both closed- and open-ended questions, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, and thematic coding. The results revealed that research scholars and faculty members are the most active users of library services. High awareness and satisfaction were observed for key digital tools, such as the Refread discovery platform, Turnitin, a plagiarism-detection tool and the Shodhganga, a national institutional repository. In contrast, tools such as ORCID and reference managers demonstrated lower engagement. The qualitative feedback emphasized the need for enhanced training, simplified access procedures, and improved promotional strategies. While based on a single-institution study, the findings may inform academic libraries in similar South Asian higher education contexts aiming to enhance digital resource management and research support services.
