Purpose This randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of CoDuSe exercises versus conventional balance training in improving balance and reducing fall risk among elderly individuals with impaired-balance.Methods A single-blind (participants), parallel-group, randomized controlled trial will be conducted involving sixty-six participants who will be recruited. Aged 60–75 years, with impaired-balance [Berg Balance Scale (BBS) score 21–40]. Participants will be randomly allocated into an experimental group (CoDuSe + Frenkel exercises, n = 33) and a control group (Frenkel exercises only, n = 33). The intervention will be administered three sessions per week for six weeks. Outcome measures include the BBS and the Timed Up and Go Test, assessed at baseline and post-intervention. Data will be analyzed using intention-to-treat analysis with between-group comparisons.Expected Results The findings are expected to provide evidence regarding effectiveness of CoDuSe exercises in improving balance and reducing fall risk among elderly individuals with impaired balance.Trial Registration This prospective trial has been successfully registered with the Clinical Trial Registry of India with registration number (CTRI/2026/02/103809).
