Youth practitioners in emotionally demanding roles need personal resilience for wellbeing and effectiveness, yet this remains underexplored in Southeast Asia. This study examined associations between practitioners’ self-efficacy, attitudes toward resilience and personal resilience. Self-efficacy showed strong positive association with resilience, while attitudes showed modest association. Critically, 88.9% reported no formal resilience training despite 14.3% facilitating resilience programs. Though limited by predominantly female participants, convenience sampling, and cross-sectional design, findings suggest self-efficacy strongly correlates with practitioner resilience. The substantial training gap highlights urgent need for evidence-based professional development supporting practitioner wellbeing and service quality.
