Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among Indian women, yet HPV vaccine coverage remains below 1% due to high cost, limited awareness, cultural barriers, and weak healthcare provider (HCP) endorsement. This pre-experimental study among 286 HCPs at a tertiary center in North India evaluated the effectiveness of an HPV Vaccine Awareness Intervention (HVAI), which included expert-led seminars and month-long digital follow-up. Knowledge and attitudes improved significantly post-intervention (p < 0.001); however, while 77.2% expressed willingness to be vaccinated, only 9.9% received the vaccine. These findings highlight a knowledge-practice gap, emphasizing the need for integrated awareness and accessible, on-site vaccination services.
