Objective: Part-time measures (PTM) in vocational rehabilitation are rarely used, with limited research. This study provides initial insights. Methods: A survey of 154 rehabilitation participants assessed sociodemographic, health- and work-related characteristics, as well as reasons, preferences, and concerns regarding PTM. Results: 69% of women and 39% of men reported a moderate to strong preference for PTM, particularly individuals with concentration difficulties, caregiving responsibilities, or psychological burdens. Preferred designs included a maximum of six hours/day (40% of respondents), breaks of 10-30 minutes (96%), and hybrid formats (36%). Concerns related to financial uncertainty and feasibility. Conclusion: The study indicates substantial, heterogeneous demands for PTM that future efforts should consider and align them with service structures and financial frameworks.
