Case Report: Unveiling occult bleeding: a rare case of hemobilia diagnosed by peroral cholangioscopy.

Hemobilia is a relatively rare clinical condition that can potentially cause lifethreatening gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Its non-specific and variable clinical presentation can result in delayed diagnosis or misdiagnosis. This complexity has rendered both the diagnosis and management of such cases a significant challenge in clinical practice. Herein, we present a case of hemobilia where a novel ultra-thin cholangioscope was employed to directly visualize the biliary tree, including the region proximal to the gallbladder, for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
