We investigate the magnetization dynamics of diamond-shaped Ni80Fe20 (permalloy) nanoelements patterned on a Si/SiO2 substrate using the time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr effect (TR-MOKE) technique. The periodic array supports both quantized spin-wave modes and laser-induced surface acoustic waves (SAWs), enabling the study of their mutual interaction within a single nanostructured platform. Three magnetic modes exhibiting pronounced two-fold configurational anisotropy are identified and analyzed with the support of micromagnetic simulations. The magnetic modes are controlled by geometric confinement, while the magnetoelastic modes are determined by the lattice periodicity. When the frequencies of the magnetic and magnetoelastic modes coincide, a resonant enhancement of the spin-wave amplitude is observed, accompanied by mode-dependent modification of the collective precessional response. These results demonstrate the mode-selective nature of magnetoelastic interaction in confined nanomagnet arrays and reveal the role of configurational anisotropy and confined mode character in determining the resulting magnetization dynamics.
