Electrochemical ammonia oxidation (AOR) enables energy-efficient H2 production, but selectivity to N2 or NOx- remains challenging, with Ni-based catalysts yielding mixtures. We investigate Cu, Ag and various CuAg nanoparticles and show that Cu-rich materials achieve up to 96% FE for NOx- and Ag-rich materials achieve up to 84% FE for N2, outperforming Ni(OH)2 in extreme selectivity control.
