Double photooxygenation of hydrocarbons with O2 enables rapid access to oxygenated scaffods. Two consecutive allylic oxidations operate at one double bond in a flow reactor with high atom economy and selectivity. The resultant dihydroperoxides constitute functional building blocks with distinct properties as energetic materials and precursors to polyols and epoxides.
