Spark plasma sintering pressure is adjusted to tune carrier transport in bulk Ag2Se. The sample sintered at 45 MPa pressure achieves a balance between carrier concentration and the Seebeck coefficient, giving a power factor of 22.9 µW cm-1 K-2 and a peak ZT of 0.60 at 400 K for near-room-temperature thermoelectric materials.
