A near-unity quantum yield hybrid antimony halide for solid-state lighting and fingerprint detection

(ATPPO) 2 SbCl 5 shows a near-unity broad-band orange emission at 605 nm as well as a weak blue emission. The material exhibits negative thermal quenching in the 80–255 K range, which can be used to fabricate LEDs and for fingerprint detection.
